Planning Your Wedding Day

Is Your Partner On Bedrest For Her Pregnancy? Give Her A Spa Treatment At Home

You want to do something special for your pregnant partner and you might have thought about giving her a day at the spa. Unfortunately, if she's on bedrest, the spa day will seem out of the question. Bedrest doesn't have to keep you from pampering your partner. In fact, if she's been on bedrest, she might enjoy a bit of relaxation. Here's the perfect way to create a spa experience for your partner.

Foot Soak

During pregnancy, feet can swell. You can create a relaxing foot soak that will make your partners feet feel so much better.

  • 3 drops of mild dish detergent

  • 2 teaspoons of olive oil

  • 2 teaspoons of lemon juice

  • Small bowl

  • Soft cloth

Directions

  1. Place all of your ingredients in a small bowl.

  2. Place your partner's hands in the solution and allow them to soak for about 15 minutes.

  3. Pat them dry with a soft cloth.

Soothing Milk and Honey Facial

If your partner hasn't been able to care for her face while she's been on bedrest, she might appreciate a soothing facial.

  • 6 tablespoons of milk

  • 3 tablespoons of honey

  • 1 raw egg

  • Soft wash cloth

Directions

  1. Place the milk and honey in a small bowl.

  3. Add 1 raw egg and mix well.

  4. Rub the mixture on your partners face.

  5. Get the wash cloth wet with warm water and place it on the mask.

  6. Allow it to sit for about 15 minutes.

  7. Use the wash cloth to gently wash the mask off of your partners face.

Mud Treatment

It's not a spa day without a relaxing mud treatment. Your partner will be able to lay in bed and enjoy this homemade mud body mask.

Supplies You'll Need

  • 4 tablespoons of water

  • Clean towels

  • Bowl of clean water

  • Wash cloth

Directions

  1. Place the cosmetic clay and water in the bowl.
